When skyscrapers become canvases: Zhangjiang AI INNOPARK lights up the city of tomorrow - November 04, 2026

On the evening of November 1, 2026, the Final Gala of the 2026 Zhangjiang Urban Beacon AI Art Exhibition took place at Zhangjiang AI INNOPARK in Shanghai.
Held under the theme “Open Questions, Open Futures,” the exhibition was jointly presented by Shanghai Zhangjiang AI Innovation Town Ecosystem Services Co., Ltd., Aseed+, and D.Transformer Incubator, with support from a range of industry and ecosystem partners, including MANA, RedNote, Hyper3D, MiniMax Design, and Volcengine.
Since its global open call launched in August, the exhibition has drawn more than 100 AI artists and creators from leading universities and digital media and design studios. Following 2 months of creative exploration, 14 selected works were presented across three thematic chapters: “Strata”, “Atlas” and “Us”. The works were showcased in rotation from October 12 to 31.
Over three weeks, the exhibition transformed the city into a canvas for light, technology, and artistic expression. More than a showcase of emerging technologies and creative experimentation, it embodied Zhangjiang AI INNOPARK's vision of bringing technological innovation and humanistic values forward together.
