An exhibition features the family letters of early CPC members.
About 400 historic photos, letters and diaries of respected members of the Communist Party of China are being exhibited at the Shanghai Archives.
More than 80 percent of the precious artifacts are on show for the first time in Shanghai. They come from the collections of over 70 archives in the Yangtze River Delta region and cultural departments.
One highlight is more than 170 letters from the CPC leaders to family members and their diaries.

The manuscripts showcase the passion and enthusiasm of the early revolutionaries, as well as their emotional attachment to their families and the Chinese people.
The exhibition is guided by the National Archives Administration, and jointly hosted by the archives of Shanghai and its neighboring Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces.
A tour exhibition will be launched at local universities and innovation parks, as well as across the Yangtze River Delta cities.
