The second International Advanced Air Mobility Expo has kicked off in Shanghai, where more than 400 domestic and international exhibitors display 570 aircraft and other products, with 23 making their global debut and 42 their China debut.

The four-day event that opened on July 22 covers an area of 60,000 square meters and focuses on the entire supply chain, including electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, drones, energy, avionics systems, advanced materials, low-altitude security, financial services, and industrial parks.

A staff member from E-Hawk shows off the company's EFC1200, the world's first butterfly-style ducted eVTOL passenger aircraft, which requires only 30 meters for take-off and landing, is fully electric and environmentally friendly, has a maximum payload of 450 kilograms, and can carry four passengers. It can be used in multiple sectors, including emergency response, logistics, cultural tourism, and urban low-altitude travel.

The E80A, a cargo-type eVTOL fixed-wing drone developed by China Postal Express & Logistics, which is characterized by its high payload capacity and long range, demonstrating strong environmental adaptability. It does not require dedicated take-off and landing sites, making it capable of performing material transportation, emergency rescue, and urgent medical missions in mountainous areas, plateaus, islands, and other complex environments.

A test dummy is strapped in the MATRIX 1, a two-ton eVTOL jointly developed by Vertaxi and Ruijin Hospital. The cabin is equipped with standard medical stretchers and monitoring equipment, transforming it into an aerial ambulance.
