More than 200 stone carvings, antique and modern, and seals went on display at the city's Jade Buddha Temple over the weekend.
The exhibition, to November 24, mainly displays artworks made from Qingtian stone from Qingtian County in neighboring Zhejiang Province. It is known as one of China's four famous stones dating back some 6,000 years.
Most of the exhibits were created by Xu Weijun, a master craftsman famous for his Qingtian stone carvings. A highlight of the exhibition is his "The imperial palace in the sky" carving which was admired by world leaders attending the G20 summit in Hangzhou in 2016.
