闵行学校启用食品安全智能监控系统 2019-09-03
An intelligent system which can spot problems in school kitchens was introduced in Minhang District on the first day of the new semester.
At the Minhang Qibao Mingqiang No. 2 Primary School, three surveillance cameras with facial recognition, behavioral recognition, motion detectors, and temperature and humidity sensors were installed during the summer vacation.
"The system will alert officials if strangers without health certificates enter kitchens," said Bao Ping, deputy director of the Qibao Station for Market Regulation. "It will also inform officials once food operation irregularities are detected, for example, if workers do not wear masks or skip using disinfectant."
