2024 Global Data Ecosystem Conference to open in Shanghai 2024-10-16

The 2024 Global Data Ecosystem Conference will be held from Oct 19 to 20 in Pudong New Area in Shanghai.
The conference is jointly hosted by Shanghai Data Group and Shanghai Data Service Provider Association. Going into its third consecutive edition, this year's conference will focus on the innovation of blockchain technology and its related application.
Over 30 activities will be held during the conference touching upon the most heated topics of discussion including international data cooperation, blockchain technology innovation, activating the value of data, using data to empower different industries and creating an ecosystem to connect different data service providers.
Serving as a platform to showcase the progress that Shanghai has made to improve its blockchain ecosystem, the conference will also help companies explore new business opportunities while attracting more data service providers to set up operations in Shanghai.
According to the Shanghai data bureau, the added value of the city's core digital economy industry reached 660 billion yuan ($93 billion) in 2023.
