The 2025 China Squash Open is set to be held in Shanghai from Nov 11 to 16.

The 2025 China Squash Open is scheduled to take place from Nov 11 to 16 in Shanghai, as jointly announced by the Shanghai Changning district administration of sports and Juss Sports on Oct 3.

This year, as part of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Squash Tour, the event has been upgraded to Gold-level status, offering increased prize money and ranking points.

For the first time, the tournament will be extended to six days and will feature a dual-venue format. The first two days will be held at the Diamond Squash venue, and the last four days will take place at the Shanghai Xian Xia Tennis Center, both located in Changning district.

According to its officials, by leveraging the viewing characteristics of different venues, the organizing committee aims to create a multi-level and panoramic experience for audiences from around the world.

A total of 48 players from 15 countries and regions will compete for the men's and women's singles championship trophies and a prize money of $249,000.

The star-studded lineup is led by men's current World No 1 Mostafa Asal and women's current World No 2 Hania Hammamy, both from Egypt, as well as the tournament's reigning champions, Mohamed Elshorbagy from the United Kingdom and Rachel Arnold from Malaysia, respectively.

In addition, Chinese wildcards Li Haizhen and Liu Ziyi will compete alongside these world-renowned players.

Tickets for the event will be available on Juss Sports' official app.
