TABLE tennis fans will be able to interact with star players and learn how to improve their techniques thanks to a table tennis museum being set up in Shanghai.

The city museum will be the new home of International Table Tennis Federation Museum in Lausanne of Switzerland. It will use virtual reality and motion capture technologies to help fans of the sport boost their performances.

The Shanghai University of Sport yesterday released the exhibition scheme of the International Table Tennis Federation Museum and Chinese Table Tennis Museum, which is now being built under supervision of the university.
