闵行迎来“美好生活季” 2025-09-17
Officials unveiled the "Chunshen Wonderful Life Season" on Sunday night.Minhang District launched its "Chunshen Wonderful Life Season" over the weekend, unveiling approximately 60 events spanning culture, tourism, sports, shopping, and dining that will run throughout the autumn, along with 10 million yuan in consumption vouchers and headline international sports tournaments.
Three rounds of coupons will be distributed on September 26, October 3, and October 10, redeemable at 600 shops in 25 commercial complexes, 160 hotels, and cinemas. People can claim the vouchers by searching "Chunshen Wonderful Life Voucher (春申美好生活福利券)" on Alipay.
Sports fans may look forward to two big international tournaments: the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000 (also known as the Shanghai Rolex Masters), which runs from September 29 to October 12, and the Buick LPGA Shanghai golf event, which runs from October 9 to 12.
The Shanghai Rolex Masters will take place in the Qizhong Tennis Center in Minhang.
Local hotels are offering ticket-and-accommodation packages in conjunction with these events, and they have crafted custom travel routes for people to explore Minhang's attractions. Ticket holders can also score discounts at select restaurants and malls.
For the broader public, more than 10 sports events are planned, including family-friendly options: the One-Point-Win Tennis Tournament, Maqiao Tennis Open, health runs, flag football, kayaking, and a family fun day at Pujiang Country Park.
In Minhang's Huacao Town, the Shanghai International Family Day Carnival runs through late October, featuring activities spanning CS:GO esports, pet sports meets, youth triathlons, and rock-climbing competitions.
A food festival was held at Reeb Square in Minhang on Sunday.
Minhang will host the 9th Gumei Jazz, Music & Beer Festival from September 25 to October 12 with live performances of classic global jazz. The beer festival will feature outdoor food stalls and music, giving visitors a taste of both.
