上海国际艺术节6000余张半价票火热发售   2025-09-24

The 24th China Shanghai International Arts Festival will be held from October 17 to November 27, presenting more than 500 performances and exhibitions, totaling over 1,200 events.

This year's festival further strengthens links with outstanding global performing arts resources, showcasing a vibrant stage where world-class artistic works converge in Shanghai. Among the 55 productions and 129 shows on the main program, international projects account for about 60 percent, with over 90 percent making their Shanghai debut.

World-renowned ensembles including the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Staatskapelle Dresden and the Berliner Ensemble will gather in Shanghai.

The ChinaSPAF will host seven showcases and five city tour events, along with 10 professional forums.

The festival will also stage the 5th Annual Conference of the Network of Silk Road Arts, expected to attract around 500 professional institutions and 2,000 industry representatives worldwide.

For the general public, the festival has designed a "new menu" of cultural offerings. More than 60 productions and 90 performances will be staged across Shanghai's public spaces, featuring nearly 2,000 artists from over 30 countries and regions.

Notably, more than 6,000 half-price tickets will be released to lower the threshold for audience participation.

The Rising Artists' Work program will present nine stage and visual art productions, with a new category dedicated to technological integration, showcasing the cutting-edge explorations of young artists.

The professional program will also include the Shanghai International Magic Festival, the Shanghai International Puppet Festival, and – making its debut – the Jazz Shanghai Music Week.

For those unable to attend in Shanghai, the festival will once again extend to branch venues in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. In particular, the Nanxun branch venue in Zhejiang will launch an international parent-child cultural season specially tailored to its ancient town stages.

This year will also see the launch of the GBA (Great Bay Area) Cultural Week, featuring performances, exhibitions and showcases to foster cultural exchange between mainland cities and those in Hong Kong and Macau.
